I have been a public school music educator for the past decade. In the late 2010's I saw a void regarding accessible music for my youngest students. I began composing music with these budding musicians in mind and sharing it with other directors across the US and the world. As the music increased in popularity, my loving wife made my dream a reality by surprising me with the "Go Band!" brand and encouraging me to continue sharing my compositions far and wide. I hope that this music can be a resource for you and your students, allowing them to make music even at the earliest levels of their journey.
In my first years of teaching, I was teaching 5-12 band and found myself infront of our marching band at a football game. We had an incredibly dedicated and supportive parent who was not a "band kid" but was our biggest cheerleader. Every time we finished a tune, he would shout "Goooooooo Band!", and even got the crowd involved over his years with us. Although his student graduated from our program many years ago, his saying is still a part of our everyday vernacular.
