Mr. Nielsen
 Mr. Nielsen
is the Director of Bands at Lincoln East High School. He is in his
fifteenth year of teaching, the last five being at Lincoln East. Mr.
Nielsen received a Bachelors of Education and Masters of Music Education
from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is currently the President of
the Nebraska Music Educators Association and serves on the UNL Alumni
Advisory Board for the Hixson-Lied Performing Arts College. He is member
of MENC, NMEA, NBA, NSBA, and Phi Beta Mu. He has served as a clinician,
adjudicator and marching band drill designer for various schools across
the midwest. |
Mr. Schmit
|

Mr. Schmit is the Assistant Director of Bands at Lincoln
East. He assists with marching band and directs the Lincoln East Concert
Band. He also teaches at Arnold Elementary. He is also a well-known

Mr. Whitman
|
 Mr. Whitman is the Chair of the Lincoln East Music Department,
orchestra director and assists with the marching band. Mr. Whitman has
taught at Lincoln East for 20 years.
