 Lincoln East High Celebrates 40 Years
May 17 from 3 to 9 p.m. at East High School
3 – 6:30 p.m. : tours of the school as well as kid's activities on the school grounds and displays from various East High groups.
Throughout the afternoon: Performances by the East High Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Blue Note Jazz Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, and the East Alumni Band
7 p.m. : East High alum, Andrew Vogt, is returning with his band Zaro to perform in the auditorium. Vogt is a nationally acclaimed jazz saxophonist/composer now based in Colorado .
A free will donation will be accepted at the concert.
Proceeds from the event will help purchase new band equipment for the school.
